Smithson Topodoodles
In the 1950s Peter Smithson produced eight gouache drawings that are part topological diagrams part graphic doodles. Holes and shape produce patterns; mapping connection, movement, interconnection, placement and interrelationship.
Rediscovered in the Smithson family archive these images have been translated onto tea towels.
The eight shapes have been placed in pairs and given names derived from titles of books written by Alison and Peter Smithson.
Adapted into tea towels by Soraya Smithson, printed on 100% cotton, featuring A+P Smithson name tag hanging loop.
Tea Towels are sold in sets of two.
